«Donbas» is a Ukrainian television channel that began broadcasting on November 9, 2009, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It is part of the media holding «Media Group Ukraine».
The channel's programming consists of 60% of its own production, paying great attention to covering political and social events in the region, sports news of local clubs, as well as joint projects with other television channels. The rest of the time is occupied by broadcasts of feature films and animated films and series, educational, entertainment and music programs.
In November 2012, its own information broadcasting projects «Vremya Novostei Donbassa» and «Chelovecheskiy Faktor» in the person of presenter Sergey Karpiy were awarded the highest national award in the field of television - the «Teletriumf» award.
