The TV channel «Pershy avtomobilnyi» started test broadcasting on May 5, 2008, from the Eutelsat W4 satellite on the frequencies of the Poverkhnist Plus provider. In 2010, the channel switched to the «Astra 4A» satellite.
The channel is part of the «Avtotsentr» Media Group. «Pershy avtomobilnyi» is a laureate of the Media&Sat Leaders' awards in 2009 and 2010 in the nomination «Original TV project».
