CBS News 24/7 has bolstered its primetime schedule with the addition of a new news program, “CBS News 24/7 Prime Time.” Anchored by Elizabeth Cook of CBS News Bay Area, the show airs at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.

Produced at KPIX in San Francisco, “CBS News 24/7 Prime Time” follows the weekday edition of “CBS Evening News Plus.” The program offers a blend of news coverage, analysis, and features collaborations with CBS Sports HQ, “60 Minutes,” “48 Hours,” and the CBS News political team.

This expansion significantly increases the network’s weekday live programming to 13.5 hours. Launched in 2022 and renamed CBS News 24/7, the streaming network boasts availability in 91 countries and across 30 digital platforms. The network previously launched a primetime news show in 2022, initially titled “CBS News Prime Time” and later renamed “The Daily Report.” This new program joins another recent addition, “The Takeout with Major Garrett,” which airs at 5:00 p.m. ET.
