For the 2025 NFL season, CBS Sports significantly updated its on-screen graphics during live game coverage. A key change is the redesigned Eyebar, the network's name for its score bug. Fantasy stats, previously integrated into the Eyebar, are now displayed in a separate, smaller box in the upper left corner. CBS explained that this is intended to resemble its golf coverage leaderboard.

The updated Eyebar features a larger, more prominent score font—almost double the size from the previous season. This mirrors similar updates made by Fox Sports to its score bug for the Super Bowl. The redesign also includes improved spacing and larger team logos, avoiding the previously used cropping. To declutter the screen, CBS removed virtual down and distances shown via extended reality (XR) technology. This information is now presented in the middle segment between the team boxes, along with the quarter, game clock, and play clock.

The Eyebar's overall shape is less "bar-like", being taller but narrower than previous versions. Unlike other NFL broadcasters who tend to use wider layouts, CBS opted for a more vertical approach. The animation that accompanies the Eyebar's appearance now highlights team logos and the CBS eye and wordmark before settling into place.

The new design minimizes bold 3D effects, favoring subtle depth effects. The network bug has also moved to the upper right corner, appearing within a subtly bordered box, similar to the fantasy stats box. A thin line indicates which team has possession of the ball, echoing a design element within the Eyebar itself. Notably, these Eyebar updates will not apply to college football coverage.
