Warner Bros. Discovery's Max has announced a significant expansion of its Basic with Ads plan, extending its reach to Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. This brings the total number of European markets offering this budget-friendly option to fourteen.

In Spain and Andorra, the Max Basic with Ads plan will cost €6.99 per month, while in Portugal, it will be priced at €5.99. Adding to its distribution channels, the plan will also launch on Amazon in Spain and Andorra, joining France, Sweden, and the Netherlands where it's already available.

Max is currently showcasing popular titles such as The White Lotus, The Last of Us, and the Spanish original series When Nobody Sees Us. Luca Nicoli, VP Digital Ad-supported Services, EMEA at WBD, commented on the positive subscriber response to the plan. He stated, “Applying our years of experience as an advertising partner across TV networks and Discovery+, in key markets including the UK, Italy, Germany, and Nordics brands benefit from our commercial break patterns designed to seamlessly integrate into the content viewing experience.”

The Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform, Max, is now available in France, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Romania, Poland, Netherlands, and Belgium across Europe. It also launched in the United States, Latin America, and Australia on March 31st of this year.
