Poland experienced a slight dip in television viewership during a period of unusually warm weather in 2024. According to Nielsen’s The Gauge Poland, the average daily viewing time of video content on TV screens decreased by 12 minutes, settling at 3 hours and 50 minutes. This is down compared to March 2025 but still 5 minutes higher than the same period in 2024.
This decrease impacted both traditional TV (down 11 minutes) and streaming services (down 1 minute). Streaming maintained a consistent 9.3% share of total TV viewing, mirroring the figures from February and March 2025. Interestingly, YouTube saw a slight uptick in its share, reaching 2.2% (compared to 2.0% in March), while Netflix experienced a decline to 1.6% (from 1.9% in March), suggesting a possible downward trend.
