Prime Video is set to launch its exclusive coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series, starting on Sunday, May 25th, with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This marks a significant shift in NASCAR broadcasting, with Prime Video securing the rights to stream five races, including a pivotal points event in Mexico City.

The broadcast will feature a revamped announce team, led by Adam Alexander, alongside NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. and former crew chief Steve Letarte. Pit reporting duties will be shared by Trevor Bayne, Kim Coon, and Marty Snider, while Danielle Trotta will host trackside coverage with commentary from Carl Edwards and Corey LaJoie. Pre- and post-race shows will offer in-depth driver interviews and analysis.

Prime Video is implementing cutting-edge technology, boasting over 70 cameras per race, including in-car and drone footage, all supported by an extensive fiber optic network. Viewers can expect a high-quality viewing experience with 1080p HDR and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. A key innovation is the double-box commercial format, allowing for commercials to run in a smaller window while the race continues uninterrupted in the main screen. Full-screen commercials will only appear during caution periods.

To enhance the viewing experience, Prime Video will provide real-time highlights and a Rapid Recap feature. The streaming will utilize ultra-low-latency technology, minimizing delays and ensuring synchronization. A new anthem for NASCAR on Prime, a reimagining of “Up Around The Bend” by Eric Church and John Fogerty, will debut during the Coca-Cola 600 and be available on Amazon Music.

The complete Prime Video NASCAR Cup Series schedule will be available to U.S. viewers via compatible devices and platforms with a Prime subscription.
