The advertising sales landscape in Austria has undergone a significant shift with the complete integration of IP Österreich into RTL AdAlliance. This transition, finalized recently, sees IP Österreich fully adopting the RTL corporate identity and operating under the RTL AdAlliance brand. This unification brings together international and national advertising sales, creating a powerful entity leveraging local expertise and international reach.
The rebranding perfectly aligns with RTL Group’s unified brand, RTL United, and positions RTL AdAlliance as a comprehensive solution for advertisers seeking premium video inventory. This inventory spans linear, digital, and addressable platforms, encompassing major national media brands such as RTL channels, RTL+, Canal+ Action, Sky Sport Austria, DMAX Austria, TLC Austria, and Sport1. This robust portfolio is further enhanced by RTL AdAlliance’s extensive European network.
A key element of this strategic transition is the appointment of Elisabeth Frank as Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026. She succeeds long-serving CEO Walter Zinggl, who will continue to support the company as a consultant until early 2027, ensuring seamless leadership continuity. Frank will be supported by Claudia Ostermann-Schabata as VP & Deputy Managing Director and Oliver Vesper as International Managing Director.

Since the integration was announced in October 2024, RTL AdAlliance in Austria has undergone significant restructuring, encompassing its organization and corporate design. All employees are now fully integrated into the new framework. A crucial component of the transition involves the upcoming launch of a digital initiative later this year, which will focus on product development, data analytics, and improved Total Video capabilities. This initiative will be supported by RTL Group's adtech subsidiary, smartclip.
