The group of thematic TV channels «Vianet» of Rudolf Kirnos, which unites the animated TV channels Niki Kids and Niki Junior, as well as the music EU Music and 4ever Music, plans to encode the satellite signal of its TV channels. This was reported by the Telegram channel TV Post referring to the director of the company Sergey Snegiri.
The group will announce the exact date of encoding soon. Today, the company broadcasts openly on the Eutelsat 9B satellite. Sergey Snegiri assured that the encoding of channels is planned, as the group's channels are paid. The encoding of «VIANET» is not related to the call of 1 + 1 media to encode the satellite signals of all entertainment TV channels of Ukraine.
Also, the group is stopping broadcasting its TV channels in the terrestrial digital network of Kyiv - the company «Express-Inform». As Sergey Snegiri clarified, the Niki Kids and Niki Junior channels stopped broadcasting in the terrestrial digital network of Kyiv six months ago - on January 1. EU Music and 4ever Music channels will leave the terrestrial digital network of Kyiv on August 1.
It is worth noting that from September 1, the satellite signal of 4 TV channels of the «Continent TV» group of Anatoly Salnik ( «Trofey», «Nauka», «Fauna», «Terra») will be encoded. The TV channel XSport of Boris Kolesnikov also has plans for satellite encoding.
Thus, the list of unencoded Ukrainian entertainment TV channels on the satellite will have only three (!!!) broadcasters left: «Sonce» of Alexander Brykaylo, «Malyatko» of Vasily Kmetik and Eco TV of Sergey Vovk.
