Teleste Corporation has made significant changes to its leadership team. Ulf Andersson has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President and General Manager (EVP & GM) of its Broadband Networks business unit, effective January 1, 2025. He will be based in the United States, a move the company says supports its “strategic expansion and increased momentum towards that market”.
Andersson’s extensive experience includes serving as CEO of Falcon V Systems and CRO of MobiledgeX, a Silicon Valley startup. He also boasts a long and successful executive career at Ericsson. “I’m very excited to join the Teleste team and look forward to working with a group of experienced professionals in this world-class company,” says Ulf Andersson. “Teleste has a strong market position in Europe, and the ongoing expansion into the North American market has opened up the opportunity for significant business growth.”
Hanno Narjus, the current business unit lead, will transition to the role of Senior Fellow, Industry Relations. In this new position, Narjus will focus on developing industry relationships for the Broadband Networks business and crafting technology and ecosystem strategies. His responsibilities will also include global market analysis to maintain Teleste’s competitive edge.
“I warmly welcome Ulf to Teleste,” says Teleste’s CEO Esa Harju. “Ulf brings strong business management experience and personal networks in North America and globally. At the same time, it is great to continue working with Hanno in his new role. Hanno has long led Teleste’s market leadership in Europe and has built a strong foundation for further business growth and expansion in North America.”
Teleste’s recent financial performance reflects a mixed picture: increased deliveries in North America contrasted with lower demand in Europe during the last quarter.
