RTL Nederland's streaming service, Videoland, rarely releases its viewing figures. However, content director Peter van der Vorst recently revealed impressive numbers for the popular program B&B Vol Liefde. “On Videoland alone, around 1.5 million people watch each episode of the popular reality series,” he stated in an interview with the AD newspaper.

Van der Vorst added, “Add to that the linear figures and the programme attracts around three million people per episode. It’s huge. If the total were two million, we would already be celebrating. And that’s not even counting viewing on small screens, such as phones and tablets.” This signifies that on-demand viewing on Videoland matches linear viewership.

The National Media Onderzoek (NMO) currently tracks linear viewing (live and delayed) on television screens. In this segment, B&B Vol Liefde averages 1.5 million viewers per episode. An NMO spokesperson explained that incorporating viewing across all devices is still under development. “We hope to be able to implement this definitively in the near future,” they said.
