«100 ТВ» is a television channel that broadcasts 24/7, covering the territory of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. It is a modern regional television channel, possessing an advanced technical base and attracting the best journalists, directors, cameramen, and technical specialists. Among other television channels, «100 ТВ» stands out with its restrained, correct style of information delivery, its lack of sensationalism, its attention to history, culture, moral and ethical problems of society, issues of civic consciousness, and social responsibility.
The work of the professional team of «100 ТВ» has been recognized with high television and journalistic awards: «ТЭФИ», «ТЭФИ-Регион», «Золотое перо», «СаМи», «СеЗаМ», etc.
The main priority of the channel is the timely, reliable, and impartial coverage of events of city, regional, and national scale. The program «Последние известия» (including sports news and economic news) airs 13 times a day on weekdays and 5 times a day on weekends. All appeals are recorded on video and used in the news and socially-oriented programs of «100 ТВ». The Hotline is also constantly working – at 3322110, editors in a special call center receive urgent appeals from citizens.
The pride of the employees of «100 ТВ» is their participation in the annual pre-New Year charity campaign «Подари ребенку праздник», which will be held in Saint Petersburg for the seventh time in 2011.
The reflection of the channel's active civic stance is also the organization of large-scale telethons dedicated to significant social problems. The first one – «Четвертое столетие - судьба Петербурга» – was held live in June 2008. On October 31, 2008, the telethon «Санкт-Петербург. Четвёртое столетие. Малый бизнес» took place, and on June 25, 2009, the telethon «Санкт-Петербург. Четвертое столетие. Здоровое будущее» was held. On April 26, 2011, the large-scale telethon «Санкт-Петербург.
