1+1 media is moving the broadcast of channels «1+1», «PLUSPLUS», «UNIAN TV», «Bigudi» and «Kvartal TV» to the Astra 4A satellite. Until now, the channels were broadcasted via the Amos 2 satellite. This was announced in a press release from the company.

Since December 8, 2016, parallel broadcasting on both satellites has begun. In February 2017, the transition to the new satellite will be completed.

The channels will be broadcasted from transponder В3, where «TET», «2+2» and 1+1 International channels are already located.

“Finally, we can say with relief that the three-year marathon to consolidate all 1+1 media channels on one satellite is nearing completion. We are moving to the Astra 4 satellite. We have a successful long-standing history of cooperation with SES, and we are focused on further developing our partnership. Now we are facing the task of ensuring the most comfortable transition to the new satellite for our viewers. At the same time, we continue to cooperate with Spacecom on other projects,” commented Yaroslav Pakholchuk, CEO of 1+1 media.

For user convenience, the website http://www.telemaster.com.ua has been created with instructions on how to reconfigure tuners of various brands to the new satellite and a database of satellite television technicians in various settlements, who can be contacted if necessary.
