The Czech Republic's streaming landscape is changing with the merger of two major players, Voyo and O2 TV. Effective March 10th, both services will combine under the new brand name, Oneplay. This collaboration brings together the expertise of Nova Group and O2, aiming to provide a comprehensive entertainment experience.

“We want to continue to build on the great success of Voyo and O2 TV and provide Czech families with the best of both services and much more. To offer the richest local content, exclusive original production and sports broadcasts and modern features fully corresponding to current expectations in one place. Unlimited for everyone, regardless of who you get the internet from,” explains Daniel Grunt, CEO of TV Nova.

Oneplay boasts an extensive catalog. Viewers will have access to popular TV stations, a vast library of Czech content, exclusive original productions, international films, and live sports, all in Czech. O2 TV Sport and O2 TV Football will transition into four Oneplay Sport channels (1, 2, 3, 4), covering events like the UEFA Champions League, Tipsport Extraliga, Chance Liga, F1, MotoGP, and MMA.

“With Oneplay, viewers no longer have to look for where to watch their favourite show or switch between multiple apps. Everything they need – from Czech and international series, films and channels to the biggest sporting events that they won’t find anywhere else – is now available in a single service. O2 customers will also get Oneplay in O2 Spolu for a great price,” adds Jindřich Fremuth, CEO of O2.

Oneplay will be accessible nationwide, with discounted packages for O2 subscribers. Four packages are available, priced from CZK 199 to CZK 799. The premium package includes 140 channels, the full sports package, and simultaneous viewing on up to three devices. Existing Voyo users will have their profiles automatically transferred, while O2 TV customers will be gradually migrated, gaining access to Oneplay from March 10th.
