FanDuel Sports Network, under the management of Main Street Sports Group, has announced a significant rise in viewership for its National Hockey League and National Basketball Association broadcasts through the end of October. The network attributes this growth to heightened engagement across both its streaming and linear television platforms.

In the initial three weeks of the NHL season, the network reported a noteworthy 29% increase in total audience reach year-over-year. This encompassed linear platforms, direct-to-consumer options, and TV everywhere platforms. Streaming minutes experienced a substantial 46% surge, while unique streamers climbed by 47%. The traditional television audience also demonstrated growth, increasing by 26%.

Early performance indicators from the NBA season showed positive trends, with a 12% increase in total audience across the network’s coverage up to October 24. Streaming minutes rose by 36%, unique streamers increased by an impressive 56%, and the linear television audience was up by 7%.

According to the network's data, connected TV platforms now represent 73% of all streaming minutes, indicating a growing preference for shared, in-home viewing experiences. Games can be accessed through the FanDuel Sports Network app, Prime Video, and various pay TV providers.

“Fans are engaging with our coverage wherever they are, on whichever platform they choose,” stated David Coletti, vice president and head of research at FanDuel Sports Network. “Streaming and DTC access continue to elevate engagement, while linear remains a powerful local driver. That’s the strength of our integrated model.”

Its NBA coverage showcases the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, and San Antonio Spurs.
