- STB takes on the financing of the staging of the number and its visualization (makeup, costumes, light, graphics, props, director). We also pay for the group's stay at the training base during the period of intensive preparation and rehearsals, and full provision for visas, flights and accommodation of O.Torvald during trips in April to the largest annual promotional parties of Eurovision participants - “Eurovision In Concert” and “London Eurovision Party 2017”, - said the head of the National Selection Natalia Franchuk.
This will be the second year of financing by STB channel of the representative of Ukraine at the International Song Contest. Last year, the TV channel took on the expenses for staging Jamala's number, preparing two stage costumes, as well as full 2-week support of the singer and her team of 10 people, including visas, flights and accommodation in Stockholm (the total amount of funding was 1.5 million hryvnias).
Recall that thanks to Jamala's victory this year, Ukraine is hosting Eurovision. O.Torvald will perform in the final of the contest, which will be held in Kyiv on May 13 with the song Time, which won the National Selection.
