The company Viasat, a paid provider of satellite digital television in Ukraine, was forced to increase the amount of monthly subscription fees for subscribers of almost all packages.
The increase in tariffs is due to the fact that Viasat pays in foreign currency to international paid channels for providing access to view their programs. Unfortunately, the political and economic situation that has developed in the country now has had a very negative impact on the hryvnia exchange rate.

Starting from April 2014, the subscription fee for Viasat channel packages will be:
- Package «Home» - 79 UAH/month (instead of 49 UAH/month)
- Package «Family» - 79 UAH/month (instead of 69 UAH/month)
- Package «Prestige» - 109 UAH/month (instead of 99 UAH/month)
- Package «Prestige HD» - 159 UAH/month (instead of 149 UAH/month)
- Package «Prestige Premium» - 179 UAH/month (instead of 169 UAH/month)
- Subscription fee for the package «Prestige HD Premium» does not increase and is 199 UAH/month
