Latvia has entered a new era in public service broadcasting. Latvian Radio and Latvian Television have officially merged to form a single entity: Latvian Public Service media. This significant consolidation aims to streamline operations and enhance the delivery of public broadcasting services.
The newly formed organization will be governed by a five-member board. Baiba Z?zena will chair the board, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic management, organizational development, and business development to the role. "Ten years I managed the TV3 group in Latvia," she noted.
Other board members include Ieva Aile, Inese Tanne, Ilze Ogle, and Ingem?rs Vekteris. Their combined expertise will be crucial in guiding Latvian Public Service media through this transitional period and into the future, ensuring a strong and vibrant media landscape for Latvia.
