The French Professional Football League (LFP) has revealed the complete list of distribution platforms for its new Ligue 1+ channel, launching with the 2025-2026 season. The lineup includes major telecommunications companies Orange, Bouygues Telecom, Free, and SFR, alongside the streaming service DAZN. The channel will also be accessible via OTT.
Canal+, a significant player in French television, will not be involved. The LFP stated that Canal+'s proposed pricing made the partnership unfeasible. However, the LFP hasn't dismissed the possibility of adding more platforms in the future.
Starting August 15th, Ligue 1+ will showcase the ten most significant matches of each season, broadcasting eight live games each matchday from Friday to Sunday. A comprehensive free-to-air highlights show will air on Sunday evenings. The ninth live match, typically shown on beIN Sports, will have a delayed broadcast.
A special free-to-air broadcast is planned for the high-profile Sunday evening match between Nantes and PSG on August 17th. The monthly subscription for Ligue 1+ will be €14.99, with a reduced rate of €9.99 for viewers under 16, albeit restricted to mobile devices, tablets, and computers.
