NBC News has announced its plans for extensive coverage of the 2025 elections scheduled for November 4, 2025. The network's free news streamer, NBC News Now, will be the primary platform for the most in-depth reporting. This streamer can be accessed through NBCNews.com and various mobile and connected TV applications.
While NBC’s announcement highlighted the streaming coverage, it remained silent on whether the broadcast network would provide updates throughout the evening. The special coverage begins at 7 p.m. eastern time on NBC News Now. “NBC Nightly News” anchor Tom Llamas will lead the first hour.
At 8 p.m., “Meet the Press” moderator Kristen Welker will take over, joined by Hallie Jackson, who will concentrate on exit polling analysis. The NBC News Now special will also be available on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. NBC News’ Chief Data Analyst Steve Kornacki will provide insights from the Big Board on NBC and across the network’s digital properties.
Later in the evening, around 11 p.m. eastern, the network’s “Here’s the Scoop” podcast will begin streaming on YouTube and NBCNews.com. Yasmin Vossoughian will host, with Laura Jarrett covering exit polls and Kornacki delivering data analysis. Journalists Jon Allen, Sahil Kapur, Allan Smith, Jane Timm and Mel Zanona are also slated to appear.
Following the live stream, the recorded video will be available on YouTube. The audio-only version will be accessible on platforms like Apple and Spotify. According to the announcement, NBC News is also deploying correspondents to key election locations.
