The owner of the Odessa satellite TV channel "OK" Boris Muzalev, who is also the founder of the "TAVRIIA V" supermarket chain, decided to close his channel. He announced this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the reason for the closure of the channel was not the professionalism of the team that worked on the project.
"Over three years, five producers and as many teams have changed on the "OK" TV channel. The channel is visible via satellite throughout Europe, and via cable in twenty cities, including Kyiv. - In the middle of the journey, we invited a producer (retired) for a successful English TV channel. He asked us for a multi-thousand salary, an apartment and a new BMW, and, with a good rating - an astronomical bonus. We agreed. The next day he met with the channel's employees, the day after - without warning, he left, and then sent a message: "I am a producer who knows how to work, but I am not a teacher. I can't even teach your people to think, I can't even make them listen." - writes Mr. Muzalev on Facebook.
"We have a well-developed conversational genre. But there are no masters who could integrate conversation into television or other forms. They couldn't with all the created conditions. Apparently, money and technology are not the main thing in creativity. To be honest, the employees worked normally, like everyone else. From paycheck to paycheck. The day passed - and that's it. And on the air, something normal ... faceless ... We are tired of being disappointed dozens of times in anticipation of a miracle ... Everyone asks for money, and receiving it - they calm down and "feed breakfasts". We don't want to sell the channel - we want to close it. And the time of television in the form it is today is ending." - noted Mr. Muzalev.
The channel broadcast from the satellite Astra (Sirius) 4A.
