StatLightMedia Group, in response to the request of the President of Ukraine, is actively working on a new international TV channel that will be broadcast on an open satellite and therefore will be available to those who, for whatever reason, prefer to watch TV on open satellites.
The channel's broadcasting grid will consist of content produced by ICTV, STB and Novy channel.
The Group plans to launch this new channel by March 16, and on March 3, StarLightMedia applied to the National Council for a License to open such broadcasting.
At the same time, the Group is receiving very positive feedback and is grateful to all viewers who have switched to watching our channels in high definition HD. We have worked hard on the quality of this solution, which could never be available for free satellite broadcasting. It is precisely because of the special reasons for the new picture quality that all channels that were encoded on satellites on January 28 remain encoded, and we welcome thousands of viewers every day who are discovering new quality.
