Tascam has released the IF-ST2110 Expansion card for its Sonicview 16XP/24XP Digital Recording & Mixing Consoles. This compact console already boasts a user-friendly experience, low latency, and high audio quality, making it ideal for live broadcasts, concerts, studio production, OB trucks, and backup systems. The new expansion card adds full support for SMPTE ST 2110 AV Networks, significantly enhancing its capabilities for IP-based connectivity at a competitive price point.

This release coincides with the Sonicview V2.0.0 firmware update. New features include a gain-sharing Auto Mixer for optimized real-time gain control, support for Ember+ and SNMP protocols for improved network control and monitoring, and 64 input and output audio channels via the IF-ST2110 card, ensuring redundancy through SMPTE ST 2022-7 compliance. The card also supports NMOS, AES67, and SAP protocols and includes a WebUI App for configuration.
