Telemundo Arizona's KTAZ in Phoenix and KHRR in Tucson have appointed Paola Morales and Ana Mafud as co-anchors of their weekday evening news program, “Noticiero Telemundo Arizona,” airing at 4 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. local time.
Morales joined Noticiero Telemundo Arizona in 2015, initially as a Tucson-based reporter before her promotion to news anchor in 2016. Besides anchoring, she spearheads the segment “Yo Soy Arizona,” showcasing community leaders and organizations making a positive impact. Mafud joined the team in January 2023 as an anchor and video journalist. Prior to relocating to Arizona, she served as a news anchor and reporter for Televisa in Monterrey, Mexico, and also has radio hosting experience. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas.

KTAZ broadcasts as Telemundo 39, while KHRR is known as Telemundo 40. Both stations are part of NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo station group and share news production resources.
