In a significant move for the Latvian television market, Tet, a leading television service provider, has announced a new partnership with Netflix. This collaboration brings a convenient bundled subscription option for viewers, merging Tet TV services with Netflix into a single package.
Three new packages are now available, each incorporating Netflix alongside Tet's existing offerings. This includes a diverse selection of films and series from Tet's own library, original content, popular television channels, and access to HBO programming. This streamlined approach simplifies the subscription process for viewers.
“We are constantly working to ensure that viewers have access to not only the most exciting television content, but we are also thinking about how to make their everyday lives more convenient – so that the most diverse offer of television channels, films and series is available in one place. We are pleased that Tet has created one of such solutions in cooperation with Netflix. This will be a new friendship that is beneficial to everyone – viewers, TV content presenters and creators,” stated Uldis Tatarēvičs, Chairman of the Board of Tet.
“We are pleased that our cooperation with Telia Group is expanding to include Tet and offering new and creative opportunities for our viewers in Latvia,” added Patrik Dankward, Head of Business Development for Netflix in the Nordics and Benelux. “This allows popular series such as Squid Game, Emily in Paris and The Night Agent to become even more accessible to every viewer in Latvia.”
Existing Netflix subscribers can seamlessly integrate their accounts into the new bundled subscription, preserving their viewing history.
