VOля announced that Ukrainians will be able to see the premiere of the new season of 'Game of Thrones' among the first in the world - on July 17. New episodes will be aired every Monday at 7:00 PM with a repeat at 10:00 PM on the FOX channel, 24 hours after the world (English-language) premiere in the US.

It is already known that the seventh season will consist of seven episodes. The last episode will be the longest in the history of the series. It will last a record 81 minutes.

– The key requirement for our content is licensing, because we care about copyright. VOля's cooperation with FOX opens up access to quality films and TV series, as well as unique premieres for our viewers. Personally, I can't call myself a hardcore fan of TV series, but 'Game of Thrones' with its large-scale filming and interesting plot impressed even me. I like the fact that although the events take place in a fictional world, the picture is imbued with universal human values, - says Victoria Tsomaya, marketing director of VOля.

Interestingly, there were no pre-premiere screenings for critics to avoid illegal distribution of materials. After all, in 2015, 4 episodes of the series were uploaded to free access by 'pirates'. Respecting copyright, VOля notes that the show will be licensed.

There are also many rumors circulating around the filming of the spin-off. One of the creators of the series recently said that, apparently, it will be a prequel, which may show the circumstances preceding the events in the series.

As for the next season, the performer of the role of Davos Seaworth, actor Liam Cunningham, in one of the interviews, mentioned some details. Already in September 2017, the team will begin working on filming the eighth season, which will consist of only six episodes and will be the final one.
