The operator of the Polish satellite platform Polsat Box (formerly Digital Polsat) has ended the free-to-air (FTA) distribution of the Muzo.fm radio station. It now continues broadcasting from the capacity of the competing platform Canal+ Polska, with the difference that it is encoded and available exclusively to subscribers.

The Polish radio station Muzo.fm has been broadcasting an unencrypted (FTA) signal for Polsat Box subscribers and listeners of public radio programs from the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13°E satellite system for many years. Free broadcasting of Muzo.fm ended on the frequency 12,188 GHz, pol. V.

From now on, distribution is provided by Canal+ Polska on the frequency 11,488 GHz, pol. H. on the Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C (13°E) satellite, but only for DTH subscribers. The transmission is encoded in Mediaguard (CAID 0100, provider id 000068) and Nagra MA (CAID 1813, 184) systems. Anyone interested can listen to Muzo.fm online at muzo.fm/radio.
