The ECO-TV channel is moving to a new satellite platform for it.
ECO-TV has started broadcasting on the Amos 2/3 4.0°W satellite in place of the «Tonis» channel. As we reported earlier, the «Tonis» channel is now broadcast on a new frequency on the same satellite.
ECO-TV also continues broadcasting on its previous position (satellite Astra 1G 31.5°E), although following recent events, it can be assumed that the ECO-TV channel will soon leave the old satellite. Over the past couple of months, Astra 1G has already lost channels such as: «Moia Dityna», «NLO-TV» «2T», «KiKo», «Planeta», «Svit», «NTA» and «Malatko».
The Amos 2/3 satellite is more popular in Ukraine, because it can be received on one satellite dish in conjunction with no less popular satellites Astra 4A (Sirius) 4.8°E and Hot Bird 6/8/9 13.0°E, which also have a decent amount of Russian and Ukrainian-language channels.
The ECO-TV channel is dedicated to environmental issues on our planet and is filled with quite interesting content of educational, informational and analytical, cultural and entertaining nature. Thus, the ECO-TV channel can be considered a good addition to satellite TV enthusiasts.
