Accedo and Magine Pro are joining forces, combining their SaaS streaming operations to form a new jointly owned enterprise specializing in OTT platforms. The agreement involves separating Accedo’s Accedo One division and Magine Pro’s SaaS operations and merging them into what the partners are calling a global leader in SaaS solutions for OTT streaming. The new entity will consolidate the Accedo One team and platform with Magine Pro’s technology and customer base, targeting broadcasters and streaming providers looking to expand and monetize their OTT services.

This new venture will function independently from the Accedo Group but will leverage Accedo’s global network as a vital business partner and reseller of its offerings. Markus Hejdenberg, the current CEO of Accedo One, will assume the role of CEO of the new company. Matthew Wilkinson, CEO of Magine Pro, will transition to Chief Commercial Officer, and Kamal Bherwani will chair the board.

Accedo CEO Michael Lantz stated that this move would enable the combined organization to focus resources on growth and product innovation. Wilkinson noted the evolving streaming market where vendors face increasing pressure to assist clients in “build thriving OTT businesses” and not simply provide technology.

Pending customary regulatory approvals, anticipated before the close of December 2025, the joint venture is scheduled to commence operations later this month from Stockholm. The company will position itself as a scalable SaaS provider for pay-TV, broadcasters, and direct-to-consumer streaming clients.
