Amazon has secured the exclusive global rights to broadcast a highly anticipated Black Friday NFL matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Chicago Bears. This game will be streamed live on Amazon's Prime Video platform across more than 240 countries and territories on November 28, 2025, starting at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Viewers will be able to access the stream without needing a Prime membership or any subscription.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with the NFL and present Black Friday Football to the millions of fans we serve around the world,” stated Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S., global sports, in a press release. He further added, “Black Friday is becoming one of the best sports holidays of the year, and this can’t-miss game between the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and the surging Bears, in one of the most-charged stadium atmospheres in sports, stands at the center of a huge day for all of us at Amazon. We cannot wait to provide fans with best-in-class coverage and a full day of action, holiday deals and surprises.”

Hans Schroeder, executive vice president, media distribution with the NFL, commented, “We are excited to work with our partners at Prime Video to bring this year’s Black Friday Football game to a global audience. Expanding the availability of our games to NFL fans around the world is a key priority for us, and we are thrilled that the Black Friday game will be available through Amazon in over 240 countries and territories around the world.”

The global broadcast of Black Friday Football on Prime Video will include multiple language options like Spanish, French, and Portuguese, as confirmed by Amazon. The financial details of the agreement remain confidential. Moreover, enhanced features that are currently available for Prime Video's NFL coverage in the U.S. will also be rolled out in selected international locations. These features include Rapid Recap, High Definition-HDR video, and Next Gen Stats powered by AWS.

Within the United States, the game will also be accessible on mobile devices via an NFL+ subscription. Outside the U.S., NFL Game Pass on DAZN will provide access to paid subscribers. Alongside the game itself, Amazon will also be showcasing a range of other sports content on November 28, including "The Skins Game" golf event starting at 9 a.m. Eastern. Pregame coverage for the Eagles versus Bears game will begin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern. Following the live NFL postgame coverage, the NBA on Prime will present a doubleheader at 7 p.m. Eastern, featuring the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Knicks in New York and the Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers in Los Angeles.

In total, Prime Video is set to deliver more than 12 hours of live sports coverage on Black Friday to viewers worldwide. Amazon already offers "Thursday Night Football" to its subscribers and has recently partnered with the NFL for Black Friday game streaming. However, 2025 will mark the first instance of this event being globally available.

Amazon is expected to incorporate advertisements into the game coverage. This presents an opportunity to market its own products and services to a large audience as the holiday shopping season commences. By providing access to the content without requiring a Prime subscription, the company is also significantly expanding its potential viewer base and can utilize the broadcast to promote both the content and the other advantages associated with Prime membership.
