ESPN has unveiled the complete schedule for its exciting new initiative, “SportsCenter: 50 States in 50 Days,” a comprehensive nationwide tour. This tour will bring live and recorded segments of the network’s flagship news program, SportsCenter, to a different U.S. state each day.

Beginning June 27th in Washington, D.C., with a special edition hosted by Scott Van Pelt, the series will span seven weeks, concluding August 16th. Each stop will showcase local sporting traditions, significant events, and vibrant communities. The itinerary includes major events such as UFC 317 in Las Vegas, the MLB Home Run Derby in Atlanta, the ESPYS in Los Angeles, WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, and The Ocho programming from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., will also be featured.

This marks ESPN's first national SportsCenter tour since 2005's “SportsCenter Across America.” The 2024 tour is strategically designed to maximize ESPN’s connection with both in-person and digital audiences, aligning perfectly with the company’s preparations for its direct-to-consumer platform, launching later this year. A diverse team of anchors will be present at each location, including Elle Duncan, Kevin Negandhi, Nicole Briscoe, Hannah Storm, and Michael Eaves. The events encompass major professional competitions, youth and amateur sports, and regional cultural gatherings—for example, the Neshoba County Fair in Mississippi and the Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming.

Each state’s segment will air from a unique location, with coverage spread throughout the day depending on the events.
