ESPN is bringing its complete lineup of studio shows, reporters, and analysts to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX. This continues their tradition of comprehensive on-site coverage. Programming will originate from various locations, including Fulton Street Square and the Caesars Superdome, offering 24-hour coverage before and after the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles game.
ESPN’s Super Bowl week programming starts with on-location editions of “Get Up,” “First Take,” “NFL Live,” and “SportsCenter” on February 6-7. “The Pat McAfee Show” broadcasts from the NFL Media Center for three days starting February 5. Other shows, such as “NFL Matchup” and “ESPN BET Live,” will also be in New Orleans.
Super Bowl Sunday coverage includes an extended four-hour “Postseason NFL Countdown” (10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET), hosted by Mike Greenberg. Analysts include Tedy Bruschi, Rex Ryan, Alex Smith, and Jason Kelce (making his Super Bowl analyst debut). Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter will report from inside the Superdome, with Jeff Darlington (Chiefs) and Sal Paolantonio (Eagles) providing team updates. Erin Dolan will cover betting analysis. “NFL Primetime” (10:30-11:30 p.m. ET) will feature Chris Berman, Booger McFarland, and Smith. This marks Berman’s 43rd Super Bowl coverage.
“SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt” will follow, featuring Ryan Clark, Louis Riddick (from the Superdome), and Tim Hasselbeck (from Washington, D.C.). ESPN will distribute Super Bowl LIX to over 140 million homes in 129 countries via ESPN International, ESPN Deportes, TSN/RDS, and D+HOTSTAR. ESPN’s digital platforms (ESPN.com, ESPN+, Andscape) and social media channels offer continuous updates, predictions, and stories.
ESPN Radio broadcasts live from the NFL Media Center starting Wednesday, including shows like Unsportsmanlike and Fortenbaugh & Douglas. ESPN Podcasts will feature Mina Kimes, Bill Barnwell, and Marcus Spears. With reporters and analysts across multiple New Orleans locations, ESPN aims to provide extensive Super Bowl LIX coverage across various platforms.
