The Eutelsat company has prolonged its enduring collaboration with the Oman’s Ministry of Information (MOI). This extension secures ongoing satellite capacity on Eutelsat 21B, located at 21° East, for Oman's national broadcasting needs.
The renewed agreement ensures that the MOI's television and media channels will remain on the Ku-band payload of Eutelsat 21B. This satellite provides extensive coverage across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, making it a valuable resource for governmental and professional video distribution.
According to Eutelsat, this agreement demonstrates the MOI's confidence in the platform's resilience and its ability to maintain consistent service delivery.
Aymeric Genty, president of Eutelsat’s Video Business Unit, stated that "the extension reinforces the operator’s role as a strategic satellite partner for public sector clients in the Middle East."
