Fox and Disney have reached an agreement to offer a bundled streaming package featuring their upcoming platforms, Fox One and ESPN's enhanced streaming service, for $39.99 per month.
Individually, Fox One will cost $19.99 monthly, while ESPN's offering will be priced at $29.99. The bundle provides a $9.99 monthly saving, representing a nearly 20% discount. Fox One is scheduled to launch on August 21, 2025, offering access to linear and on-demand content from Fox broadcasting, FNC, Fox Business Network, Fox Weather, Fox Sports channels, Big Ten Network, and Fox Deportes. ESPN's new streaming service, building upon ESPN+, will also launch on August 21st. This expanded service will include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNews, ESPN Deportes, ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, ESPN3, SECN+, and ACCNX.
This joint venture seems to be a response to the abandoned Venu Sports project, a sports streaming partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery that was thwarted by an antitrust lawsuit from FuboTV. While the new bundle excludes WBD's TNT, TBS, and TruTV channels—initially planned for Venu—Fox One suggests potential future bundle expansions. However, the possibility of future collaborations with WBD remains uncertain, especially considering WBD's upcoming linear cable network spinoff and the loss of significant NBA rights, which will reduce its sports programming substantially.
