FS1 is implementing significant changes to its weekday programming schedule, resulting in the cancellation of three daily shows: “Breakfast Ball,” “The Facility,” and “Speak.” This decision impacts several on-air personalities, including long-time host Joy Taylor, who had been with the network for nine years. The cancellations leave only “The Herd” and “First Things First” as remaining daily programs.

Among those affected are Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, Danny Parkins, Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, Chase Daniel, James Jones, Paul Pierce, Michael Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, and Taylor. However, some may remain with FS1 in new roles as the network develops fresh programming. Potential contributors to future shows include Tony Reali, Max Kellerman, and Kay Adams. Former FS1 host Jason Whitlock even suggested a televised version of the popular podcast “All the Smoke” as a possibility.

Reali, previously of ESPN’s “Around the Horn,” stated, "I am open to new opportunities and expect to work across both television and digital platforms."

The three canceled shows reportedly suffered from low viewership and were overseen by former FS1 executive Charlie Dixon, who left the network in April. Separately, Fox Sports is negotiating a deal with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to join its college football pregame show, “Big Noon Kickoff.” This partnership would also integrate Barstool content onto FS1.

Portnoy, a University of Michigan alumnus, has appeared on Fox News and Fox Business Network. The deal aims to attract the 18-to-34 demographic, a group where Barstool enjoys significant engagement. Portnoy's presence would offer a counterpoint to ESPN’s “College GameDay,” which features Pat McAfee, a former Barstool contributor.
