Harmonic has announced a series of innovations to be showcased at IBC2025, strengthening its position in video streaming and broadcast delivery. The company will present its hybrid cloud and on-premises streaming solutions, AI-driven workflows, ad insertion technologies, and advancements in live sports streaming.

Harmonic’s advanced technologies include the Software Spectrum X media server, offering double the channel density for UHD workflows, leading to enhanced video resolution and quality of experience (QoE); 5G bandwidth efficiency through advanced video compression using the VVC codec and DVB-NIP standard; and simplified solutions on VOS 360 Media SaaS for cloud and VOS Media Software and XOS Advanced Media Processor for on-premises deployments. A solution for programmatic ad buying on linear TV, bridging traditional and digital advertising, and an innovative live sports streaming solution designed for monetisation and anti-piracy measures will also be demonstrated.
