The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) once again recognized the reliability of the partnership with «Media Group Ukraine» and the successful experience of cooperation with the assets that are part of the holding. The victory in the tender for broadcasting the largest competitions under the auspices of UEFA was won by the TV channels of «Media Group Ukraine» – «Ukraine» and «Football 1» / «Football 2».

«We have signed a long-term agreement with the Union of European Football Associations and for the next 4 years we will broadcast matches of all European national teams. This is over 1000 matches, 140 game days and 200 time slots. To cover all this volume of broadcasts, we will have live studios with inclusions from all matches of the game day, studios that will prepare viewers for the matches and summarize after their completion. In addition to the usual matches of the European qualification, we will offer the viewer a completely new product – the UEFA Nations League. This tournament is designed to raise the level and prestige of football among national teams. Friendly matches are gradually fading into the background, and they are being replaced by matches with a real sporting component – the opportunity to reach the final stages of the World Cup and European Championships. I think that with the advent of the new tournament, everyone will win: fans will get even more spectacle and emotions, and our broadcasting grid will be supplemented by over 300 matches.
The key event of the next 4 years will undoubtedly be EURO-2020, which will be held for the first time in 12 UEFA member countries. 50 matches of the European championship and the final match, which viewers will see exclusively live on our TV channels».
Matches of the Ukrainian national team in the UEFA Nations League, European qualification for the European and World Championships, as well as matches of the final stage of EURO-2020 will be available to Ukrainian viewers in exclusive broadcasts on the channels of «Media Group Ukraine».
