MOC TV, the association representing 16 major Polish broadcasters and controlling 92% of the TV advertising market and 87% of audience share, has appointed Katarzyna Johansson as its new President of the Management Board. Johansson brings over 20 years of experience in broadcasting, marketing, and media agencies to the role.
Johansson's priorities include strengthening communication to present a powerful narrative showcasing television's effectiveness. She also plans to enhance research capabilities, providing robust data and case studies demonstrating the impact of TV advertising. Crucially, she aims to build stronger partnerships both within and outside the broadcasting industry.
Johansson emphasizes the importance of television having a proactive and strong voice as the media landscape rapidly evolves. The MOC TV Supervisory Board welcomed her appointment, citing her strategic vision and extensive industry expertise. Founded in 2019, MOC TV champions high research standards, delivers insightful analysis, and actively supports television's role as a powerful mass-reach medium.
