Peacock is enhancing its streaming service by introducing add-on subscriptions for NBC Sports Regional Networks. This new feature provides Peacock Premium and Premium Plus subscribers with direct access to live games and programming from their local NBC Sports network.
Depending on location, subscribers can choose from NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports California, or NBC Sports Philadelphia. The available sporting events include live MLB, NBA, and NHL games, showcasing teams such as the Athletics, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Celtics, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Flyers, and San Jose Sharks. The offering also extends to other professional and collegiate sports, encompassing NWSL and NBA G League games, among other programming.
This add-on subscription is a monthly purchase, in addition to an existing Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscription. The price varies based on market and the number of games available. Only users with a direct-billed Peacock Premium or Premium Plus subscription can access these add-ons. The live games streamed include regular season and postseason matchups, as well as select preseason games, but may be subject to in-market blackouts depending on location and league policies. Note that live games from overflow channels will also be available as live streams.
