Polish viewers added an extra six minutes of daily screen time in October, according to the latest data from Nielsen’s The Gauge. This increase reflects the expected change in viewing habits as the season shifted from summer to autumn.

Viewership in Poland saw a general upswing across various content platforms. Traditional television channels reported a 3% increase in viewership. This rise was partly attributed to popular events such as the Poland vs. Croatia and Poland vs. Portugal football matches from the Nations League, along with well-received Polish series and news broadcasts.

Streaming services also experienced growth, showing a 2% increase in viewership. YouTube and Netflix continued their reign as the most popular streaming platforms accessed via television screens. However, the overall proportion of video viewing on TV screens attributable to streaming dipped slightly to 8.7% in October, representing a minor 0.1% decrease compared to September 2024.
