Starting January 1st, 2025, RiC TV, the German children's channel, will launch the popular animated series The Fairly OddParents. The show, featuring Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda, will air daily at 7 PM CET.
This premiere coincides with a significant technical improvement for RiC TV. The free-to-air channel is moving to a new, optimized frequency on the Astra satellite system (19.2° East). This is part of a renewed capacity agreement with ORS, the Austrian technical service provider. The channel's new permanent home from 2025 will be 11,302 GHz H (SR 22.000, FEC 2/3). The existing transmission frequency will cease operation on December 31st, 2024.
“The premiere of The Fairly OddParents on RiC TV underscores our commitment to providing high-quality, family-friendly content. This series combines imagination, humour and positive values, making it a perfect fit for our philosophy. We invite all viewers to discover RiC TV’s new frequency and embark on a magical journey,” stated Laurence Robinet, Chief Broadcast Officer of Your Family Entertainment (YFE).
