Beginning January 1st, 2025, German children’s channel RiC TV will introduce the beloved animated series, The Fairly OddParents, to German-speaking audiences across Europe. The award-winning show, following the escapades of ten-year-old Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, will have a daily broadcast slot at 7 PM CET.
This launch coincides with a significant technical improvement for RiC TV. The free-to-air channel is transitioning to an optimized frequency on the Astra satellite system (19.2° East), resulting from a renewed capacity agreement with Austrian technical service provider ORS. The new parameters, 11,302 GHz H (SR 22.000, FEC 2/3), will be the channel's permanent location from 2025 onwards. The parallel broadcast on the existing frequency will cease on December 31st, 2024.
“The premiere of The Fairly OddParents on RiC TV underscores our commitment to providing high-quality, family-friendly content. This series combines imagination, humour and positive values, making it a perfect fit for our philosophy. We invite all viewers to discover RiC TV’s new frequency and embark on a magical journey,” stated Laurence Robinet, Chief Broadcast Officer of parent company Your Family Entertainment (YFE).
