This multi-year extension of their framework agreement ensures Sky Deutschland retains exclusive rights to premium Sky Studios productions in the region, significantly enriching their content offerings with new and exciting original dramas.
This renewed collaboration emphasizes Sky Deutschland's dedication to providing its subscribers with top-tier serial storytelling. Upcoming highlights include the suspense drama "The Iris Affair," starring Niamh Algar and Tom Hollander, premiering autumn 2025, and the historical mini-series "Amadeus," featuring Paul Bettany and Will Sharpe, debuting this winter. The latter delves into the life and legacy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Sky will also exclusively air a new season of the Emmy-nominated thriller "The Day of the Jackal," starring Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, a series that has garnered significant international acclaim.
