Telemundo is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup 2026 with the debut of its official song, "Somos Más." This vibrant track will be unveiled during the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, broadcast live on Telemundo on October 23rd at 8 p.m. Eastern.

The network collaborated with renowned artists Carlos Vives, Emilia, Wisin, and Xavi to create the song, which will serve as the soundtrack for Telemundo's Spanish-language coverage of the upcoming global tournament. "Somos Más" incorporates various Latin music styles and instruments, resonating with the World Cup’s “We Are 26” campaign, which promotes inclusion and diversity.

The song focuses on themes of unity, global pride, and the passion of fandom through lyrics such as “Cada vez, somos más,” which is intended to be a rallying cry for fans. The song features vocals from Colombian singer Carlos Vives, Argentinian pop artist Emilia, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Wisin, and Mexican-American singer-songwriter Xavi.

“Telemundo’s World Cup anthem is more than a song — it’s a celebration,” stated Francisco “Cisco” Suarez, executive vice president, primetime unscripted and specials, Telemundo. Telemundo holds the exclusive U.S. Spanish-language broadcast rights for the tournament. The network plans comprehensive coverage, airing all 104 matches live, with 92 on Telemundo and 12 on Universo. All matches will also be available for live streaming on Peacock and the Telemundo app.

“This anthem is a tribute to the global spirit of fútbol and the communities we serve,” said Joaquin Duro, executive vice president, sports, Telemundo. Telemundo emphasized its commitment to extensive coverage, stating it will have a physical presence at all 104 matches, marking its most comprehensive presence for a men’s World Cup. Enhanced pre-game, halftime, and post-match analysis is planned across all platforms.
