Telenet has rolled out a redesigned TV menu, designed to enhance viewer navigation through the ever-growing world of live TV, streaming apps, and local programming. Subscribers will experience a new “For You” landing page, showcasing personalized content recommendations, coupled with simpler access to locally produced shows and movies.

The operator’s updated interface offers a unified experience, allowing viewers to explore live TV channels and streaming platforms like GoPlay, Streamz and Disney+ from a single screen. A new “Shop” feature allows users to manage subscriptions, enabling effortless one-click activation or cancellation of services billed directly through Telenet, eliminating the need for multiple logins. The platform’s “Watchlist” function allows users to bookmark films and series across various apps and channels.

The refreshed “Discover” section merges content recommendations from multiple services, minimizing the need to switch between devices or platforms. A key aspect of the update is the introduction of the “Van bij ons” page — a dedicated space for local content. It highlights Belgian programming and talent, reinforcing Telenet’s role in supporting the domestic creative sector. Viewers can access shows from VRT Max, GoPlay, VTMGo, and local content on platforms like Streamz.

Telenet’s renewed focus aligns with its broader digital TV journey, which began 20 years ago. Innovations such as pausing, rewinding, multi-device viewing, and voice search have been central to its strategy. As stated by Telenet Group, which also operates the BASE and TADAAM brands, the update “reflects its commitment to offering tailored viewing solutions for Belgian households in an increasingly fragmented media landscape.”
