The Tennis Channel is making significant strides in the German market, announcing key distribution agreements and securing broadcast rights to prominent German tennis competitions. This expansion significantly increases the channel’s accessibility across German-speaking regions.

Now available on streaming services Joyn, waipu.tv, and O2 TV, and soon on Zattoo, the Tennis Channel offers premium tennis content without extra charges. This strategic move coincides with the channel’s acquisition of live broadcasting rights for three major tournaments: the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle (ATP 500), the Berlin Ladies Open (WTA 500), and the Bad Homburg Open (WTA 500).

These tournaments feature top-ranked players. The Halle event boasts Alexander Zverev, Jannik Sinner, and Daniil Medvedev. The Berlin Ladies Open, held at the prestigious Steffi Graf Stadium, will see participation from eight Grand Slam champions, including Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka. The Bad Homburg Open, starting June 21st, will feature stars like Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula, and Jasmine Paolini.

“With these highly attractive rights and our new high-reach distribution partners, we are taking the next significant steps to excite even more tennis fans in Germany about the Tennis Channel,” stated Matthias Hahn, General Manager of Tennis Channel DACH.
