Ukrainian media holding "Media Group Ukraine" launches the broadcasting of the Korean television channel KBS World in the package of interactive television OLL.TV. This became known during a press conference dedicated to this event.

The goal of launching the channel is to introduce the Ukrainian audience to Korean culture and traditions, unique content, and provide an additional opportunity to learn the language. The channel broadcasts in Korean with English subtitles.

Evgeny Lyashenko, Director of "Media Group Ukraine", noted: "For "Media Group Ukraine", the launch of the channel is important primarily because it enriches the package of our OLL.TV service, which already ranks third in Ukraine among similar services and continues to develop actively. Today, the subscriber base of OLL.TV is over 100,000 users."

Evgeny Lyashenko also emphasized that the company has a positive experience in adapting Korean formats for Ukrainian television, including "Queen of the Game", "Immortelle", "Save the Boss". Further development of relations with Korean media companies is strategic.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Ukraine, Lee Yang Gu, said: "Cooperation in the media sphere is primarily a platform for strengthening mutual understanding between our countries. Our state is actively investing in the industry, so Korean television and production companies are developing rapidly. Today, KBS World is 60 million households in over 100 countries around the world, the channel plays a major role in spreading Korean culture around the world."
