WMAQ's celebrated local luxury real estate show, “Open House Chicago,” is set to premiere its second season on October 26, 2025. The Emmy-nominated program will air every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. local time on WMAQ and will be simultaneously streamed on the station’s website, news streamer, and its YouTube channel.
“Following the success of our inaugural season, I’m excited to showcase even more stunning properties and vibrant Chicago-area communities in season two,” said host Cortney Hall. “Having grown up in the western suburbs and watching my mother build an accomplished career in design and luxury real estate, I’m honored to share the passion she inspired in me with our viewers.” Hall also serves as executive producer for the series.
This season, “Open House Chicago” plans to explore various locations, expanding into the suburbs of Chicagoland and introducing new themes such as “Homes with Horses” and “Co-ops.” Throughout the season, Hall will be joined by luxury real estate broker Carrie McCormick, who will offer key insights for buyers, sellers, and homeowners. Ben Cohen, managing director at Rate, will also provide analysis of the real estate market.
A new addition this season is expert moving advice from Method Moving. “Open House Chicago” is also partnering with Chicago Title & Trust and the Chicago Architecture Center. The first episode is already available on YouTube, and all episodes can be viewed on the NBC Chicago News live streaming channel and NBCChicago.com. Behind-the-scenes content will be shared on Instagram (@nbcchicago), TikTok (@nbcchicago), Facebook (@nbcchicago), and X (@nbcchicago). Viewers can also follow Hall on Instagram (@cortneyhall) and Facebook (@cortneyhall).
