«Dom» is a state-owned 24/7 entertainment and news channel that is part of the state-owned enterprise «Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting of Ukraine» (previously, the state-owned enterprise «MPIU» broadcasted only under the brand of the UATV international broadcasting channel). Its signal in the meter and decimeter bands (that is, in analog and digital formats) is broadcast to the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Donbas and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It was created to objectively inform Ukrainians who are in the occupation about the situation in Ukraine, the world, and in their temporarily occupied areas.

The main goal of the channel is to return the political, cultural, and social life of Ukraine to the agenda of citizens living in the temporarily occupied territories, to affirm in them the idea of the inevitability of the soonest return of Ukrainian power and law to these regions, and to build confidence that liberation from occupation will be beneficial and will not pose any threat to those who have not committed bloody crimes.

«Dom» is an effective tool for communication with Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes, became internally displaced persons, or left the country. The «Dom» channel is a way to provide them with emotional and psychological support, it is an opportunity to maintain ties with Ukraine.
