Disney+ has agreed to a free showing of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour film after the singer’s Vienna tour dates were cancelled due to a terror plot.
Organizers in the Austrian capital cancelled the three-night residency at the 65,000-capacity Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna after authorities uncovered a terror plot. Instead, Disney+ posted on Instagram to announce the free screening on public broadcaster ORF1 on Saturday night, August 10, one of three dates originally planned for the Swift concert.
Disney also offered a free seven-day trial in Austria or Germany for anyone wanting to stream the concert.
Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the plot that was uncovered just 48 hours before the first concert was due to go ahead. The main suspect, who is 19, is said to have confessed to his involvement in the plot.
